Apply one drop on your inner arm and wait 20 minutes. No redness or itching? You're ready.
The nightly Nabhi ritual
Two minutes before bed. A few drops in your belly button, a gentle massage, and let the oil work while you sleep.
Before you start
A quick check so your first night goes smoothly.
Apply one drop on your inner arm and wait 20 minutes. No redness or itching? You're ready.
Wipe your belly button with a soft, damp cloth and pat it dry so the oil can absorb.
This keeps the drops in your navel instead of running off. Keep a tissue nearby.
The ritual
Follow these four steps in order. It takes about two minutes.
Step 1
Lying on your back, use the dropper to place the oil straight into your navel. More oil doesn't work faster, so stick to 2–3 drops.
2–3 dropsStep 2
With two fingertips, massage gently around your navel in slow clockwise circles, the direction a clock's hands move. Keep going until the oil has soaked in.
Clockwise · 1–2 minutesStep 3
Leave the oil on and go to sleep. It is slow-processed to absorb through the Nabhi through the night, instead of sitting on your skin.
Leave on overnightStep 4
Wipe your belly button with a damp cloth, or simply wash it during your shower. Then repeat the ritual again tonight.
Every morningWhy the navel?
In Ayurveda, the Nabhi is the body's centre point, linked to Agni, your digestive fire. That's why the oil goes in the navel, and why the massage matters.
The oil is slow-heated for 72 hours, making it fine enough to absorb rather than sit on your skin.
This Ayurvedic herb helps the oil penetrate deeper through the Nabhi.
Sesame, Castor, Pippali, Triphala, Nagarmotha, Turmeric, Haritaki, Chitrak, Asafoetida, Ginger, Ajwain, Saunf and Peppermint.
Do's & don'ts
If irritation occurs, stop using it and consult your doctor.

Night is recommended. The ritual is designed to absorb overnight while your body rests, and you clean your navel the next morning.
Just continue the next night with the usual 2–3 drops. Don't double the amount to make up for it.
Avoid it during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It is suitable for people aged 13 and above. Don't apply it on broken or irritated skin.
Nabhya Dhara is for external use only. If you have a medical condition or take regular medication, check with your doctor before starting.
Stop using it, wash the area with mild soap and water, and consult your doctor.
About 30 nights of daily use at 2–3 drops a night.
